About the Chamber

The Caledonia Area Chamber of Commerce actually began as the "Caledonia Merchants Association" in 2007. In early 2010, the Caledonia Merchants Association began to pursue becoming a Chamber of Commerce and in May of 2010 the group officially made the change.

Caledonia Area Chamber of Commerce is a local community chamber. We are not a member of the U.S. Chamber, nor do we have any affiliation to it.

Goals

  • To make the Caledonia area a better place for people to live, work, shop, learn, and play
  • Promote and enhance business activity and growth in Caledonia
  • Create a positive awareness of our local merchants through promotion and community involvement
  • Promote a dynamic business environment for the benefit of a vibrant business community
  • Provide a healthy environment to sustain, promote and grow businesses, civic, and community organizations in the area while providing opportunity to enhance the quality of life in the Caledonia area through local events
  • Organize local businesses and professionals functioning as one voice to promote local commerce and community activities
